    Re: Today's Training

It's raining here. Again. Or should that be "still". Anyway, off-road is becoming pretty much unrunnable, so today I did 9 miles on the roads. I know. Actually I was quite enjoying it in a mindless sort of way until some fool tried to drown me by driving through a flood at stupid miles an hour just as I was passing by on the pavement. At least people can't do that on flooded fields...

Certainly, the numbers indicate how many times per week they occur. Sorry i was a bit vague.

Can't imagine doing 12 sessions in a week.

If you can manage to keep on track it looks like a very thorough, balanced programme for fell running. You should be flying in a couple of months.

    Hope it goes well.

nor me..but then again this is the session plan of somebody (IDP) who has considerably more time on his hands that most of us

if i can manage to squeez in any extra sessions a week i make sure that they are totally specific

5 x 5mins on treadmill today at 10% incline 2mins recovery at 5% incline same speed throughout..then finished off with 3 mins flat...flat out so to speak
