I know this is not quite tonight but yesterday afternoon I had on my cd player a Nick Heyward / Haircut 100 compilation. I'd forgotten how totally lovely his solo stuff was, and as a result said cd will be in my car tomorrow to and from work (& quite possibly to and from the Colne v Silsden local derby in the evening too).

I always thought that Nick heyward had the charisma to have a lasting career. His first solo singles were outstanding, and then he sorted of faded awayyyyyy......

Anyway. I am now listening to another compilation featuring another lost 80s band. One whose early albums have just been remastered with bonus tracks and are not in the least bit expensive. No doubt you all remember..............
