Unfortunately one of our team was recovering from a bug and had to wrap it after Edale Cross so we finished with 3, think that might put The Nuns into second place but can't remember if they finished in front of the AvonLadies or not. A bit disappointed but still enjoyed it and it was good to give the Nuns a sprint finish . Well done everyone, and thanks to all the organisers.

Big thanks to the organisers. marshals etc - was a great experience and I surprisingly enough enjoyed it! Did 13hrs41, which was better than our aim of 14hours

A new first for me - I actually saw the top of Bleaklow at the fourth time of trying....

Its usually clagged out and/or pissing with rain and/or raging a blizzard

    And bloody well done RachFR!

An excellent night and many thanks to all the marshalls and organisers.
We had to drop a team member due to illness at moscar but carried on as 3 finished 10.34 (would have been 7th but as a 3 we only get time)

you all looked a little weary whenyou came in, Hope the ITB is ok. The HPM does dish out the punishment. Youngfellas dad looked quite chipper, just like Youngfella

Although we charged to a 1 second finish over the Avonladies they had given us 6/7 minutes start so we knew they would beat us.

First Ladies team was DarkPeak-Accelerate Ladies for the third time??
First Mixed was The farmers Wife(Nicky Spinks) team with pavement plodder in tow. also for the 3rd or 4th time(just under 10 hours) this team also had Nick Cable in who was only doing his second race in two years on his way back from injury. Well done Nick (and John and Ian)

We had a lovely run through the night making the call to take the ridge rather than plump for the normal FBC up Bleaklow as we thought the snow would be too soft. what a call that was as we went straight to the errant CP.

Day break on the way down to SS.
