Re: Half Tour of Pendle 2010

Well i took a shocking line off geronimo. Not to self...dont stick to the left next time, follow Ian Greenwood's line instead.

I was pretty chuffed that i managed to run all of the first climb to the top, felt pretty ill getting to the nick of pendle and going past the resevoir but felt abit better as the race went on.
The 2nd climb is a total beast, i probably could have run it but i decided i'd follow everyone around me and walked it.

Ian Holmes was certainly on a mission!!!!!

Cracking route, a little too hot at times and as ady said, that icy stuff after CP1 was abit of a pain, other than that cracking race.

Really enjoyed that, sorry to state the obvious but blimey that's a whole different world to road running.

I ran all the way up the first climb and was feeling pretty pleased with myself but from then on must have dropped 30 places. I wasn't done in but I just can't pick way across that terrain and descend as fast as you boys - it really is an art.

Well done on the race mate, hey by the way none of us were born with the descending skill, it comes with training and racing. You didn't say whether you enjoyed Geronimo by the way?
Bet you'll be back for more action next year, or maybe the full later this year!

Any idea when the results for this will appear, or is it dependant on Brett coming back from his w/e away?
