I will be putting them all onto the website as well.

More good news is Netgear have come on as a sponsor for the event as well!

Thanks Henry! I think I've cracked the location. "A well known loch nearby" must refer to Loch Ness, as we English haven't heard of any of the others. The "unusual overnight camp" must be Drumnadrochit car park.

Thought I'd resurrect this thread. Got a pass for the weekend so I'm in ~ with Langdale Legs.

The date is 10th/11th April 2010 and with only 30 teams entered so far so there's plenty of room for anyone else.

    Highlander 2010
    GAIRLOCH
    10th and 11th April

The location for this year's Highlander is in the wonderful hills around Gairloch. The planners and controllers have been out through the winter and have put together a fantastic set of courses. The area provides stunning scenery to rival all the past highlanders. The Ceilidh band is booked and the Bar will be stocked so why not enter now!

Sounds like it could be a snow-free Highlander - the hills around Gairloch aren't very high, & it's right on the coast. I'll pack my swimming things.

The running will be a doddle compared to the 870 mile round trip taking 20 hours.

Can't wait ~ lets hope for some great weather so we can enjoy the scenery
