    Belated entry for yesterday -

    Distance - 8.6 miles
    Time - 1hr 03 min 09 sec
    Elevation gain approx - 1200 ft
    Conditions - Fairly warm
    Felt good but the pain in my hip is a constant niggle - will seek advice me thinks.

    Elevation gain approx - 2000 ft
    Conditions - Fairly warm
    Felt good but a new pain in achilles.

    A swarm of killer flies blinded me though !

    Stines in via various spots inc Back Tor, Toms Knoll, Beristers Tor, Cartledge Rocks
    Cold wind but quite warm when out it.

    Just setting off for the weekly reservoir run. 6.5 miles, starts as a social chatty jaunt and subtly transmogrifies into an eye-popping race at about halfway. Coffee and cakes round the picnic table afterwards. Just as much competition in the baking, too.

    14 miles on the Malverns this morning, North Hill to the Gullet and back - up and down, up and down and then up and down again.

    And again

    Bit windy but no rain.

    Intervals in Tatton Park.

    This involved warming up (10 minutes) then running quite quickly for about 1.5 minutes to a far-away point - normally a tree, resting 30 seconds, then doing it again. I did this for 20 minutes. At which point I was knackered and could only just manage to stumble back on my warm down.

    I need more hills. Roll on the clock change and evening sun.
