Has anyone else been wondering what the hell this 'Glee Club' thing is all about? I thought it was a club for fictional nerds until i started seeing trailers with college girls mincing around in cheerleader outfits, and as anyone who knows yank colleges will know cheerleaders are never geeks.

Glee Clubs were founded in england in the 1850s, made up of male members they would sing short 'glees' which were short songs. The whole thing went out of favour in this country and we now have choral societies instead, but the yanks kept it going with the exceptions of having girls and boys, and not singing the short 'glees' but standard length songs. The oldest Glee Clubs are at places like Yale and Harvard and date back to the 1850s.

Been watching the IPL on ITV4 every afternoon, its quality!

Its actually entertaining cricket because they smash it for 4s and 6s a lot, loads of wickets, and best of all, it cuts to cheerleaders dancing in between each over
