Hey thats cos hes short like me.
We dont have the stride to leap over the bogs.
Adam is a real quality runner and is very young. I thought I was catching him heading up to the woolpacks but he disappeared into the distance after that.
You have to go some to run the time he did and chatting to him at the end he told me he ate nothing all the way round.
Class or what.
Brilliant effort Adam. His dad is also a quality runner and must be so proud.
Just got to get his dad running for pennine now before those pesky dark peakers snap him up.

Incidentally Ian, I was ambushed at the end by two of your hombres. John and Matt had me for breakfast.

Yes both very strong runners. Matt told me he thought I was going too fast when we passed each other at Winn Hill just have to work on the stamina a bit more.

A big thank you from me to all those Dark Peakers, their family and those from other clubs who came to help at the Skyline on Sunday.
An event such as the Skyline takes a lot of effort, and it was great to see the club pulling together to produce what was a great day.

For those who like to plan ahead, next year’s race is Sunday March 27th. Fine weather guaranteed!
