    Good luck tomorrow everyone.

I'll be out and about supporting Mrs BGSec, so will see some of you I'm sure.

Well, that was a breeze. Nice to put some faces to some avatars. One in particular has a less impressive fleece than I imagined. A grand day for a run. A touch windy though, at both ends as far as I'm concerned. So Jez ought to be grateful he was several minutes behind me. Aarf, aarf.

Thanks, Jez, nice to meet you.

Well, it was more than two minutes, which would have been a couple.

You may well be right about Chris, we'll never know, but was he running with only one sole on his shoes? I reckon that slowed me down a bit. How the marshalls laughed at CP 8. I've posted about this on the equipment/Walshes thread.

If you'd had "modern" shoes on, I reckon you'd have won it !! You were "laughing" at CP8 ?? I was nearly crying ! Clearly not working hard enough.

I thought this was "only" 2800-3000 feet of climbing. I've just transferred my Garmin info to my PC & it's saying 1201 metres (3939 feet). I thought I found it harder than I was expecting ! Especially the climb up to see Derby Tup !

In my book 1982 is modern.
It was the marshalls who were laughing.
Told you a couple of day ago, I only wanted to bimble round in under 3.40, so I may have smiled every now and then. What was your time, by the way?

Probably my fault for telling you CP 4 was on the Chevin. Soz!
