What are these? I like Morrisson's chocolate peppermint creams, they are cheapest when bought in a bag, 69p for 185g or 3 bags for £2. Chocolate raisins go down easily too, but are easy for a shaking hand to spill into the heather.

Yep another vote for chocolate raisins and also chocolate peanuts.

I just keep on experimenting and never really stick with one thing though.

Mars bars are supposed to be medium GI, I used to swear by them, but have shied away from them recently, they may make a return soon...

Don't we need to distinguish between foods to eat while actually running and foods to eat at intervals during a run but while stationary? I can imagine chocolate peanuts' leading to choking and mars bars to total asphyxia if attempted on the run.

Milky Ways are a good alternative to Mars. The sweet you can eat between meals whie running Joking apart they're very easy to get down and not so 'clarty' in the mouth. Tried Crunchies for first time running yesterday. Good as dissolve in your mouth
