It was very windy here on Majorca as well today, got blown into the road bike and all

Thankfully only some bruises, but the team I am with decided to simply bugger off... So rode in anger on my own the rest of the day and shall be riding on my own from now on... I hadnt got a clue where I was, as I was relying on my coach and the team leader of this training camp... but as a true fell runner, managed to find a town and got myself a map there, so at least I could plan a nice hilly ride back to home base!

Lovely mountains though, so you will see me climb and climb and climb!

Yeah thats definitely not it the ethics of road biking, even the leaders of the Tour de France wait for each other, if they have an off!! :/

In the distance i could see two cyclist obsolutely beltin' it down the road, the driver stopped and wait to turn into the country lane whilst the cyclists past.

They where head-to-toe in Team GB gear, with very snazzy bikes (they were going too fast to see what make their bikes where).

I couldnt believe the speed they where going at, any yet how easy they made it look...pure class!!!

Be bloody grotty to be out on a ride in this weather though, but hasnt half made my day!!!

are you sure that was not me on my new bike going so fast that i was blurred and you thought there was two of us?

There was a cold and sneaky wind blowing today but a good ride was had out to the coast and back through the Trough. Made the mistake of riding back with a skinny racer after the cafe stop - should have gone back with the main group! Good session though, around 70 miles.

Well, after the being left on my own to get lost incident on Tuesday, I have been riding on my own... did almost 100 miles and over 2000 metres of climbing in just over 6 hours yesterday... well pleased!

4hrs 15 into the wind on some undulating terrain today... now knackered and ready for a recovery day tomorrow, easy 1.5 hour ride to sample good coffee and cake!

Not pleased to be left to my own devices though... worst is that the bf was in that group too... so you can imagine, I wasn't pleased when I came back in the evening. I complained to the training camp organiser, which apparently was rude, I should have apologised... and the bf is now ex

Still good riding, but a bit of a lonely and depressing holiday

Hann - there is a ride every morning from Tollos which is on the front as you come into Puerta Pollenca if you don't fancy riding on your own (I am presuming you are at Pollenca Park). Not sure of set off time, I think 9.30. There is a tall girl called Liz (with fantastic legs) that gets out quite a bit on this ride - she is an ex national hill climb champ! Mixed ability in the group depending on the day but it is an alternative for you.
If you are there you must ride up to the look out tower at the top of the hill at the end of the bay on evening before dark. Leave the bike at the top and walk up and climb the tower - fantastic photo opps and an interesting backward descent from the steel ladder!

Have fun and enjoy my fave cycling place!

Am getting 2! Buying a Kinesis Cross light training frame + full carbon fork and putting the bits off the Colnago onto that. I Have bought a C Record groupset and some Ksyrium SL wheels and some other carbon bits as well to go back on the Colnago. Being built up within the next 2 weeks.
