    Re: Three Peaks 2010.

I can't see any reference to the additional water stops on the web-site. Am I missing something? I seem to remember an extra 1 at Sulber Nick last year or was it a mirage. Please advise where the extra's might be so I can debate with myself at length about whether or not to shoulder the Camelbak.

Any advice on footwear............only joking - as this seems to be the main subject matter for this particular event I'm thinking stilletto's this year.

I'm out of it now, injured. Still going up for the weekend though.
I'll position myself on Ingleborough summit, hand out the drinks and jelly babies to my clubmates and probably run the 5 mile back to Horton with one of them.
And after that the eating and drinking will begin

I've done the race 4 times and would love to know. Can you describe it or mark it on a map?
    muchas gracias.

I seem to remember that they had drinks on Ingleborough Summit last year.

But they have at the CPs and also at Birkwith and Sulber Nick.

There's always the Hill Inn for a pint - just remember to do it after you Dib

Ginge - Under the Runners info section-

"Competitors own drinks will be transported to Ribblehead and Hill Inn checkpoints. Please clearly mark your drink and place in one of the two labelled boxes provided near registration. If possible use a throwaway container (they can get lost)! Intermediate drink stations will be at High Birkwith (12km) and Sulber Nick (34km)"

Have been weighing up the option of Camelbak compared to bumbag - probably go for the bag, providing the sun isn't cracking the flags.

Leeds Rhino - sorry to hear you'll miss all the fun. Can you have a tube of Deep heat/ Ibuleive available at the top of Inglebugger ?

Camelback, you'll get the hump carrying all that, and forget the stillettos they're not very good on cattle grids and steep descents and please don't wear the suspender this year your legs are distracting enough

Crowhill apologies in advance but I'm at work and can't spend too much time fannying about. I've rattled off a very rough stolly map though with sufficient clues in, if you know where to look

    That's brilliant mate .
It's what Friday's are for. I've got a document I "urgently have to submit" today...
Right so on with the important stuff. Looks like what your suggesting is stay right of the craggy rock at the top and then rejoin the path for a bit and then hang left of it...
Dare I try it on the day? probably resort to following the person in front.
    Cheers - the map's ace!

Unless you meant the dotted line is Stollys route in which case I've got it the wrong way round!
