Well, after a brief conflab with my secret training advisor, I have decided to do the TT. This will be better training for me... I am made to ride it one gear bigger than I would normally and am not allowed to feel remotely comfortable at any time... so Toff, yes, it WILL hurt! Most likely more than the chaingang, as with the way the legs are feeling I would probably get spat out of the back fairly soon...
You can sort your legs out. There are simple massage techniques Hann that you can do yourself which work amazingly well. Its surprising what a difference it makes.
Also before your Crit, keep your legs raised the night before and no excess walking.
You never see a Pro walking about
And before anyone edits the keeep your legs rasied quote im deadly serious.
The rest and recovery side of cycling is as important as the training.
Good luck
Off for over a week now so should manage some miles on the stead as well as on the hills![]()
Weather looking quite good so far Daz
Planning wall to wall training really, not sure if there will be any racing......
Need to get some longer runs in as well as I'm up the Lakes with Andy in a couple of weeks for a bike + run recce!
If you get the bike sorted and are off early next week drop me a line if you fancy a good ride out.
Ohhhh,enjoy your week off Ady![]()
