    Pretty good site shows descent from Quarry and I see a Piglet in one of those pictures. I'll bring a map any way

    Its ok, now cn't make it, dying dog and childcare required. Will go over to Hambledon instead, thanks anyway.

    Oh aye! Theres a few of us in there!! Its a champs race again so there'l be quite a few on Sunday I expect.

    You'll easily manage that, Ian. I did about 75 minutes last year, and that included going back to help Helen Berry when she fell at a stream crossing (as 2 Dark Peakers went straight past her!)

    My handicap for this race is 47%, so if the race winner does the same time as the record holder I should be about 81 minutes so I dont think you will have any problem with your time Ian

    Conditions are fast out there, dry underfoot, less stiles than usual, if we have a little drizzle, no or little wind and it is cool. we just need a few fast whippets and it could go.

    This was the very first official fell race I did, even before I was a DPer

    This was my second official fell race, in 2006. I'd only done a Trunce before so I had the shock of my life!

    Love the course now, although I'd rather it was much wetter, makes for more fun.

    Had to spectate this one today with the nippers. Great to catch up and see all the "cut & thrust", wish I'd been able to take part.

    I have to say you don't really look Lady U23 though
    Don't think I've seen so many forumites in one place , Must have been 20 or so and they were the ones I knew.
    I've been ill all afternoon though.
