Last pain free race was Setpember 2008. Last race was Oct 2008. The doc suggested to operate my left Achille. The right one was operated in 2007 after 7 years of pain.
Not happy.

Gambatte, i have had both mine done, it's not easy but you just have to get on with it, i now have Achilles tendon bursitis (spell check needed) for last 6 months on one of the heels, which is a pain well you limp for 10 mins of each day while you get going but after that its no bad.
Had cortisone injection which worked for short time but then i came back specialist said you just have to live with it!
That's just what people like you and i have to do sorry no magic wand, but i have started training in a diff way swimming helps a lot and only one or two runs a week, it wont let me train for long events but it will allow me in time to race up to say 9 mile or so
listen to your body
Good luck
Going to try again....
Thanks for the simpaty, that's really what I need.
I'm really unhappy. I would trade one hour on each of my PB in return for a life of running injury free.
Alberto
Alberto get yourself behind yourself and push yourself along............................................. ........... shit happens, this is not a sport that is injury free, try chess :-) not being harsh it's just the card that you have been dealt try other things swim lift weights watch porn anything that works for you.
Going to try again....
Exactly. You just have to accept things. I am still much healthier than most people. And in a few months I will return to run much more than most people ever do in their life. Just I must force myself not to train to the level of decent club runners.
If I must run less and slower, and stretch more (always done plenty), in order to keep injuries off that's what i'll do.
All the best mate, get well soon.
