    What Central Manchester Club?

    I am looking for a central Manchester running club suitable for a new chap at work (from overseas).

    He is a veteran, keen on running and done a few marathons in about 5 hours.

    He will be living in the city centre, so something central would be good.

    Any suggestions?

    YMCA Harriers are the only really central Manchester Club I can think of. But I think you have to join the Y club to be a member and I'm not sure how much that would cost.

    Sounds like a training partner for Danbert - you could fix a meeting for Saturday at Heaton Park

    Surely there's a club that goes running up those skyscrapers they've now got in the middle of Manchester?

    Manchester Harriers are based in Gatley (South Manchester, out towards the airport) so not really central

    what about Salford?
