Well that's me sorted and good to go (kit check excepting); I've updated the route on my maps, got all my kit out, packed what I 'm not wearing on the day, bought a block of marzipan as my emergency food and I've even brushed the dried mud of my fell shoes.
I've just checked my checkpoint puncher from last year and here's a few depressing facts to remember on the day/night:
At the top of the third peak, Gragareth, you will have only travelled 13.5 miles!
Dent is only a third of the way round at 20.5 miles
Once you hit the trig on Buckden Pike you will still have 15 miles to go
Even at Yarnbury when you finally get hit the tarmac, its a long long long 2 mile run in to Threshfield
