Hasn't CL always been in it? Certainly has for the last few years, since the British Champs year at least.
Brilliant route. Never did the old route with the road section, but think its great to finish straight off the hill.
Off to the US tomorrow so a no show. Doesn't get the numbers such a cracking race deserves.
Yes, Carnedd Llywelyn has previously been included. I did this race for the first time last year and CL was part of the route. Great race and great spread afterwards in the pub!

the original route did`nt visit the summit of Llewelyn and just skirted along the scree to the bwlch between yr Elen and CL.
i never could see the point of not including it so i`m glad that it has been added in recent years.
Anyone got a map of the race route?
A fantastic race over real mountain terrain. Thanks to the organiser and all the team.

the toughest race iv`e done since coming back to racing.the weather was fine for running ,a bit windy on the tops but was`nt too cold.descended like a fairy from the top of yr Elen so lost a bit of time.i wore the Speed cross 2 and felt very unstable these shoes are ok on tracks and non technical grassy routes but on real mountain stuff they just dont cut the mustard.gonna get myself a pair of those new Inov8 if i`m gonna be racing a lot of these kind of races.
