Hmmmh interesting point Rock regards the dog - didn't realise but clearly the dog is tied to his waist, something to think about in the future if I ever decide to fit a dog into my life!!

Bloody tough race though a cracking route, would make a cracking 'short' in the Brits bar the parking issues?.........contoured descent down to valley before horrific climb up Cribyn was tough whilst the climb up the Cribyn ridge itself was horrific!.....enjoyed though!

Top 7 finished as they were in the photos Rock.....

Thanks everyone who helped out today- too many to name. And thanks to everyone who ran, a really good field. Just been out for a run and finally sunk onto sofa watching Over the Rainbow, while typing up results. Should be on site later tonight. Wheeze, i may have to borrow your post to start a testimonials page!

Well done to Helen for coping with the coping with the onslaught of runners including one or two very late entries. Great race, well organised and well done!

Had about the best day possible - ran a race that I thought was beyond me and did OK and Dundee United won the Scottish Cup!!!

I'm the clerk of the course and i say leave Pat alone. He only did it as training for his South Wales Traverse and its not like he was in the prizes. His dog was wearing a collar not a harness and any significant pulling force would crush its trachea before it pulled an 11 stone bloke up a hill that steep. And my decision is final .

well Math a tough race, some good runners in front of you,i did this in 2002 but it was in July then.i find it hard to race down south as your legs dont get going till after a bit due to the time spent in the car on the way down. i see that the Davies boys are going for it this year, good to see Tim getting back to form and with Andrew pushing him hard will be good for him if goes for the British champs
