Trail runner magazine coming in next months Trail

Used to read Trail years ago but found that, like a lot of outdoor magazines, they just recycled the articles over the months and years until I began to find it a really dull read - plus it seemed to be nothing but a place to push glitzy product. Not really into that. ymmv.
Will probably pick up this new one but can't say I'm not wary of the connection to Trail.
Trail started up a mtb mag a few years ago but it didn't last longer than a few issues. I'm not convinced there's a market for a traili running magazine. It'll be interesting to see who its pitched at. Wonder if Breezie's bent over his old Remmington knocking out a few thousand words for them?

It will be interesting to see from the adverts and reviews if its a serious magazine or not.
Looks interesting.
I'd better watch out though as it's produced just round the corner from me. So if they see me out running I may well appear in the mag in an article on how not to run
Agreed. They do seem to repeat themselves a lot over the years. I think the only reason I keep buying it is because I've got every issue since the first. Sad I know!
Oh well looks like I'll be buying next months now as well.
Six as I recall. Between May and Oct 2000
I bought Trail this week and the running mag is better than I expected. Quite a few forumite contributions too

Must admit, I've had a Trail subscription for a while (Christmas present !), and agree about it becoming increasingly the same recycled stuff over and over, but just pushing the latest gadgets and styles of everything. Diffiuclt to find new ideas though I guess...
I got the trailrunner magazine free with it last week and its exactly the same. There was some interesting stuff in it, but I wondered what they're going to find for the next one to add! It also made me wonder how I been managing to run all these years without spending the equivalent to the income of a small european nation (not Greece!) on kit!!
There's gonna be dozens of new but immaculately dressed runners lost all over the country!
