I've got leg 5 sussed now, Lawrie showed us a fantastic line off Glasgwm, much quicker than the way you and Yiannis go you'll have to let me take you on it next year

Bad luck Rob, when I sore the forecast I didn't fancy anyone's chances this weekend. It's just so hard in the heat, and the early season warm days seem to take their toll because we just aren't acclimatised to the heat yet.

There was a group of Scottish based runners doing the Paddy Buckley, anyone know how they got on?

That sounds interesting! I assume you mean from Glasgwm to Pen y Brynfforchog?

    Thats the one.

Two of us went over the fence and the other two followed Lawrie along the fence then down a re-entrant, they got a long way ahead of us, didn't catch them until just before top of Pen y Brynfforchog! and we had been moving a lot faster than them up to then, having to wait quite a few times.

Good Effort Rob - sounds like you/your support gave it your best shot, but how unlucky for such freakish heat on they day?

I'm assuming you can't try later in the year cos of the bracken, is that it?
i.e. May most sensible month to attempt?

Yes in Meirionnydd for less than 24 hours. By then you may have even more expertise of the round by the looks of things.
