    I'm looking for a partner for 2011
[probably squeaking round under the cut-offs and clocking 11:59 ]

Some more pictures taken... http://www.flickr.com/photos/21665038@N02/ a friend was in the area doing landscape photography. I told him to head over to watch you guys...it's his first attempt at fell race photography.

Daz you never know, might be up for that.

Had it on my list this year as part of BG prep that fell by the wayside once I decided I wasn't going to do the BG.

Ah I was talking to Jim for a while, nice guy...I was at the cattle grid passed the tarn with water, started to run out of water so subsequently every passer by that stopped to take a photo of the scenery had me jumping out asking for spare water!

Would anyone out there care to share the best route up Wythburn Valley?
Also is there a path contouring round the side of High Raise from Greenup Edge to Stake Pass?

There is a path/trod pretty well all the way up to Greenup Edge, although very boggy in places, then contour round High Raise (no trod) and drop down to Stake Pass and onto the path to Angle Tarn.

    Post Old County Tops 2011

    Hi there,
Trying my hardest to organise my races a bit more in advance this year so looking for someone to run the Old County Tops with, aiming for sub 9hrs. Anyone interested, give me a shout.
    Cheers.

It had crossed my mind to re-aquaint myself with this event. A long day out that cannot be under estimated.
