just been eyeing up the route map, and looks right up my street - ascent broken into 3 climbs, almost no flat whatsoever, this is the stuff!

I am looking forward to it, especially the climbs. The descents are quite good too.
There are a few flattish sections, eg along the road early on, along the bottom of Park Moor after the descent from Bowstones and towards the end above Black Rocks. Should be very fast if it stays dry.

Top class! Great race - most 'enjoyable'.
Entertaining last decent on the damp grass (particularly at the top)- note to self, more down hill training required

Have got Man Flu or Blue/Green Algae poisoning from Keswick Triathlon in Derwentwater.
Gutted to miss it, hopefully the race is here to stay.
