    Through Wasdale, Rick and Andy going strong and still gaining time. 20-30 minutes up at Wasdale but don't be surprised if they keep gaining time. Mark has had a bit of a bad patch but went through Wasdale on schedule and is now looking good.

    Honister.... Mark about 15 minutes down on schedule but could well make it up. Rik having a blinder and now 90 minutes ahead of schedule. Andy also going strong and 60 mins up.

    Mark finding some speed and left Newlands Hause 3 minutes ahead of schedule.

    Mark finished his 50 at 50 in 23 hours 56 minutes battling not just the 50 peaks and deteriorating weather but also Keswick Bank Holiday crowds.

    Brilliant! What fantastic news - congratulations!

    I'm off in just a few hours to start my attempt.

    I don't suppose anyone fancies doing Leg 3 with me, do they? Yiannis is not feeling well.

    (not that I'm panicking or anything...!)
