Hi all - just come back...still with a big grin on my face....knocked 23 mins off last years time to finish in 1.54.

Well done to gafyrmynydd - u must of had a great run down as there was a bit of a gap between the first few.

I had the most horrendous cramp in the car park after saying bye to nightingale! but legs felt ok today..

Looking forward the next one now.

Dylan bach - see ya @ Foel Fras :-)

Diolch Dyl. wnestin superb i nocio gymaint o amser off. Ti oedd yn gwisgo vest Skelmersdale?? dwin siwr.

Yes, think I was 7th reaching the summit. I had a good descent of the mountain itself 14min from the summit to Ty Nant, but with that sort of speed trying to close the gap to Andy, I instantly paid the price when I got to Ty Nant left calf cramp kicked in, had to stop and stretch it out so lost a bit of time but nothing major. Very very happy with 2nd overall and chuffed I knocked 14mins off last year.
A massive well done to all that completed the race in quite difficult conditions.
Hope you all enjoyed my local town, it's a lovely place when the sun's out!! Honest ;-)

Of course it is - we've just had a great couple of days staying on, eating out, getting sun burnt, doing the Precipice walk etc. etc.

Had a great race day too - at least the rain eased off in the afternoon! Once again Graeme and crew did a great job - big thanks to all

    Re: Cader Idris, May 29.

Just back from 3 days away racing.....I missed the bloody cut-off AGAIN. This time by 2 mins!!

    Hope everyone had fun.

My HUGE pink rucksack was quite light really! I thought it sensible to take a few bits & bobs with me, as I thought I might miss the cut-off, so knew I'd be out there on my own.

It will be THIRD time lucky next year when I actually get in the results!!

To he honest, I'm just happy I can run at all after breaking my ankle last summer. It's just nice to be back & able to run on rough ground again.
