    Spacey shoes

In the New Balance shoip in Keswick they've got a prototype RX 1441 which is apparently going to (expensively) replace the RX Terrains (which I quite like for training).

Definitely a bit weirdy looking, some details at http://www.foundem.com/M/clothesUK/S...ce/RX_1441.jsp

Anyone care to suggest what a "debris free protected removable gator" might be?

Pampering to the Marathon des Sables lot by the sound of it. Lots of marketing bollocks if you ask me. I liked the RX terrains as they were thank you very much.

Are there any photos of this new shoe? Can't find any reference to it on the NB website. A shame if they are discontinuing the RX terrain.

I was looking this morning, but couldn't find any. Unless there's something on Google images, which is blocked here.

This is strange I can only find Newitts offering these shoes - Newitts are a general sports mail order co - one of their specialities is buying 'job lots', 'end of lines' from major manufacturers.
