Id imagine so yes...62 minute record over 9 miles 2700ft. A lot of leg speed will be needed.
Have you not done BG leg 1???

Well I'd say it'd suit everyone really.

Theres the long run out and run back in which would suit the faster runner. But DONT BOMB IT early on as im sure Daz H will back me up after last year.

Then the climb up suits a strong climber...I still have nightmares of the screaming my calfs gave me.
Theres a few stretches of long runable bits nearer the top both going up and coming down which will again suit the faster runner.
Then its down to good out who's the most mental descender

And then...ho's got the most left in the tank to get to the finish.

Ah but you do get to go off-path on the way down as you drop off the side of jenkin hill.

Yeah good shout. Maybe if theres abit of loose scree abit a long/tripple jumper may be in with a chance of a win?

    Re: Skiddaw

Hopefully do this race. Do you reckon I'll be OK in roclite 295s? I have been up and down before, but stuck to the path all the way (and the top half was under snow so I don't know what the ground's like higher up). Or I could wear my new x-talons but I've come to the conclusion that they're half a size too big for me so maybe not such good idea for the descent?
