    Mayhem also had a track on the same album called freezing moon. Add the 2 together:

    The freezing fog contained ex members of beecher, so:
    Beecher - Red diesel

    Recorded at there last ever gig at the star and garter manchester. One of the greatest bands to come from MCR RIP

    Right thats enough for me for the night. Sorry to do loads of links in a row but I felt a need to get to the obscure and away from likes of the cheeky girls!
    Hope I've not runined the thread, though what I really hope is someone on here will Know of Merzbow and post a quality link, or at least do a bit of research to enable such. There's one absolute quality link to a very famous band thats beging to be used and I'll be so pleased if it is!

    Encouraged by Eavesy, I've done a bit of research, and I will link to Atari Teenage Riot thusly:

    V/Vm (a sonic artist from Stockport) has a track/piece called 'There's a Guy Works Down the Chipshop, Swears he's Merzbow', and in October '98 appeared on the cover of Wire magazine and was part of an article 'Harder!Louder!Faster!' that explored the development of a new scene that also included Alec Empire, he of...Atari Teenage Riot (one of my favourite band names ever). So:
