    Re: Todays Bike Ride

111 miles on the Ryedale Rumble yesterday in 6hr 59 so very pleased to be under 7 hours, joining a cycling club has helped greatly this year and doing a few road races. If I can get my running back into some sort of order I'll be happy again.

PS very tired today though but in a good way.

Giving it a miss this year..... wasn't intending to but completely forgot to put my entry in... still, body and bike will thank me. Will be back in 2011 gunning for sub 3:45. Good luck to all giving it a crack, it's got to be one of the toughest days on (and off!) a bike you can have in the UK.

I will be on the course taking pics for Sportsunday so wear your best lycra and smile as you breeze up Simon Fell.

I reckon I would see you in that, even if it's foggy! Catlike helmets are top!

Me too, not done enough training this year, been a write off as far as motivation is concerned, will try to get up and cheer you all on, good luck.
Agree with nikalas, tough, but bloody great race.

Oh errrr... hiding Zipps from the missus? That will be hard!

Went to the track last night, first time since the track champs, derny paced session... I don't know quite where it came from, as my legs were still riddled with DOMS from my mad fell run to the top of the ridge and back on Sunday... but I was flying, screaming quads and all
