Fell Ponies??

At today's Mellor Show race Luvshack set off at a real canter galloping well ahead of me on the upward climb. For the first few furlongs he looked decidedly frisky. He slowed however before the first hurdle. Firm going and, initially, a hot day which soon cooled down may have befuddled him somewhat. Nonetheless he finished strongly impressing the pundits and must be surely fancied by many to complete the season in style. And guess what? After a fine outing on this new course wearing little but his birthday suit he was towelled down and lo and behold his sweat rug was in the colours of the Fell Ponies! What a game colt he is!

Orange Pony reporting for duty!

I ranneth! For the first time in 6 months... up and down to the ridge, 6.5 kms, half up, no problems, my cycling muscles carried me up without having to take walking breaks. On the way donw the quads started moaning about halfway down the continuous and relentless descent... and were well screaming by the time I stoped at my front door!

Needless to say the are screaming at me today, coming down the stairs LOL but not as bad as last year after Anny Waltz

Now, if I keep running, and don't make this into a one off, the orange vest may just come out for a race at the end of this month

I rocked a pony vest yesterday for a track race- 1500m and then the 400m...considering it for Burnsall as well
