If it wasn't for my teenage son my TV would go, I never watch it other than to occasionally turn it on, flick around the channels and decide there is nothing worth watching
Most of the stuff I want to watch is on BBC iplayer, and you don't need a TV licence to watch it. I'm pretty sure this loophole will be closed within a few years.
Got to admire all you 'non - TV ghurus'. I'd be with you, but the other half has totally different ideas.
The Sun always shines on T.V. - A-ha(or should this be on "The Chain" thread? )
I can totally do without TV, and probably watch three hours a week of it a week, if that.
But I need a telly cos I watch a lot of DVDs - some of which are the better TV series that I've missed: The Wire, Mad Men, the Shield, etc, all of which are brilliant.
I don't watch TV at all. I watch stuff on my laptop when on the train etc.
My other half would throw me out before the TV though and its not even his house haha!!!
Watch virtually zero telly now. Got a border collie instead. Cancelled sky - a rip off anyway. If I need to see something I can usually find it on the laptop or if there'e some live sport it's usually on at the pub, happy days!
