The course up to Black Hill trig is straightforward, Pennine Way and few opportunities for getting lost (I managed once, but I am a prat).
Black Hill onwards is very difficult navigation IMO, but it appears it will be flagged from the top to the finish, like last year.
Weather suggests that visibility might be poor though.

The Great Man wasn't a particular fan of the Pennine Way; I don't think he would have ever entered the Crowden Horseshow, were he so inclined to take up Fell Running
"A. Wainwright said at the end of his 'Pennine Way Companion' "You won't come across me anywhere along the Pennine Way. I've had enough of it." His own experiences of the walk included getting stuck in a bog up to his waist on Black Hill - he had to be pulled out by a passing National Park warden!"
Had a bit of hail in between the rain here today in Roysten Vasey. It'll be a tad damp up there tomorrow. Make sure yer shoes are laced up tight!
so its 12.25 am here in New Hampshire, 5.25am in Glossop. Hope you all enjoy the course tommorrow, wish I was there. Will be looking for a course record from RR or Lloyd. Enjoy
Well RR is back, anyone got a report?
Seemed to be lots of blood at the finish line - hope everyone was OK!
