I still like to keep the fish throttler at arms length [Mrs Green tip: priest for xmas] but i did give in and watch the ITV3 repeat tonight which gave me a super idea: run up to a corrie lake in the Lake District in my wetsuit, say Goat's Water, swim in it and run back to the car. Does anyone know what temperature the water in the average corrie lake is at this time of year? Windermere will be about 12-14c.
