Mine got donated to someone in Barnsley by a strong gust up Mickleden.
Might go looking for it! My running partner lost his on Outer Edge. There'll be a few grouse out there with extremely warm heads OR good nesting material.

Well done! Good going. The lad I ran with round the 23 mile course finished with me and still did it two hours quicker than me.
Aye. They assumed all Long Runners started at 10am too. Its confusing to work out.

It shouldn't have been as you had numbers to coincide with your start. any one who didn't have the '8' prefix should have been timed to the CC

    '3's were long, 4's short

That’s where I cocked up then, and why the time I was recorded at was over 20mins out from what I had self timed.

When I got to PlumBum’s van along with a pack of runners doing the 16 miler I did the same as everyone else was doing, I gave PB my number then walked back to the community centre, once back there I chatted with Jodg and had a bite to eat before letting the ladies doing the registration know that I was back ok.

The clock won’t have stopped until I had reported back to the CC and not when I thought it had, when I saw PlumBum.

Doh! No wonder there was a 20+ min difference between my time and the time given to me at the CC, I thought I must have accidently stopped and restarted my stopwatch.

Should have got back before PlumBum left the community centre to meet the racers back

And I guess we did meet after all, you joined the table with me and jodg for some food at the finish?
