    Been the gym for an hour - no running - bit scared too, legs a LOT better but still tender to prod! May try later for a short slow tootle and see what happens

    You should be ok today ground will be nice and soft after all the fecking rain we've had over the weekend!

    rest today and tomorrow.. may go for a waddle on wednesday..

    when i can work out where the dog put my running shoes(Jarvis) Lucy(pup) still intent on eating me shoe laces..

    14 miles saturday am, from darwen - great hill - winter hill and back via bellmont. Nice run, went from really miserable weather to lovely sunshine.

    More boot camp style training tonight from trainer

    I actually ran today....and neither leg fell off!! Somehow 30 mins seems so pathetic after the 9-12 hours a day of last week!

    Damn you all....I thought this was the no training thread!!!

    Well I sorta did some!

    16 miles on the bike and then 40 lengths in the pool!
    Couple of twinges from the knee when going up 'sheep houses lane' on the bike but apart from that ok!
    Oh and there was a right good looking lass in the pool as well......

    Am going to give 'shock horror' a run a go tonight.

    Head down the track and do some slow laps as I'm guessing the nice soft springy surface might be better for the knee!
