    Weather is set, so no excuses. see you out there...


    All set for a 7am start this Saturday ( 4th September) Give me a shout if you see me out on the fells. My last training run was last weekend, a leisurely 8hrs 45mins across the .Welsh 3,000s

    Fitness is at a good level, im just hoping I can run fast enough to get across in 11 hours 59mins 59 seconds.... Im raising money for Patterdale Mountain Rescue

    Was that you I met on the summit of Steel Fell at about 11.50 today?

    just to update, dale managed to finish his jnc in 11 hrs 47 mins.
    i was involved in legs 1 & 2 and couldn't keep up from 1/2 way over leg 2 he was going so strong.
    fantastic effort. this has got to tougher than the bob graham for v50's.
    josh & his wife were waiting at the finish for them too. it doesn't get any better.
    well done again.

    There is no slack in the schedule for the V50s - way too quick for me!
