We sort of did a loop around Llubi and stopped at Bugger for some breakdfast and coffee before heading for Campernet which we missed and ended up on some sections of unmade roads that took us on to the proper road into Selva and then up to Calmari followed by the climb up to Lluc which taught me a lesson - training is required! Last year I stormd up here a couple of times but today was very tough and I was glad to see the garage and the fridge full of cold drinks! The roads were very quite apart from a coach on a fast bend that required a bit more leaning than had hoped for and on the lower slopes it was like descending into an oven - even the breeze was super heated. A headwind did no favours to the run back into Pollensa and a cold beer at Tolos followed by a 3 hour kip on the beach was a nice rounding off to the day. A short ride with the camera tommoz to give my legs a rest before a couple more proper rides with Sa Collabra on the cards............
Nice one ady, Raining here. Seems like a lovely area to ride. What's the standard of the roads around there.?

Just 40 miles tonight. Crap weather with bursts of rain . Roads very slippery and several times had to knock it back a bit. Tired legs from Ben Nevis didn't help either . The climb up to crich was bloody hard. Cape on and probably the first sign that the weather is turning.
I'm confident we are going to have a hard winter. The berries have been plentiful and that's got to tell you mother nature has provided for the long road ahead

I think you are right Daz...

I am out of action for a bit... had a crash on Saturday... going at about 20 moh my front wheel went from underneath me, probably hit a slippery patch... as no pothole... Badly bruised and grazed and my left knee is all swollen and stiff Hope I will be well enough to ride 3 peaks...
