Does the Ben usually fill up this early? Any particular reason??

I sent off my cheque on 14th January last year and got into the race (2006 one!) without problem.

Maybe the programme on BBC Scotland made a difference, although the balance between Scottish and English runners 2006-2007 looks similar.
