Just under 50 miles yesterday over the Brynna and Bwlch climbs, pushing on over the tops to keep warm, too cold to stop for an ice cream! Good solid 16.3 ave after a good stomp home. Bit of a headache this morning after some beers last night, it appears as though I am now doing a LEJOG next year.......ho hum. Is that a good enough excuse for another bike on the Dom principle of n=n+1 ??????

Out of interest I did the same route today, but on the road bike. I probably tried a bit harder than yesterday as I was on my own today, but it was a lot windier. Avg 17.2 MPH, and about 10 mins quicker.

A cracking club ride today up to Ingleton via Settle, Lawkland, Clapham & Austwick and back on the lane that runs parallel to the main Chapel-Le-Dale road, Ribblehead, Horton, Little Stainforth, Giggleswick, Sawley, & Clitheroe.
Was quite sunny, clear and around 20 degrees up there - a little warm for carrying CX bikes up big climbs! Hope it stays as clear on Sunday, looking forward to spectating. Around 78 miles today at a sensible 16.2 average.

Got a new lens which you won't be able to miss Han! I'm not going to the start, I'll find a spot up Simon Fell and then move myself to another spot - not sure where, maybe Horton Scar lane or part way up Pen-Y-Ghent. Have a great day out and give me a wave.
