A big thankyou to the kind folk that were about including a young lady doctor that happened to be out walking who bandaged his leg.
Also the two MR guys that were on their way camping who supplied us with some warmer gear and must have heard my tummy rumbling so supplied a flapjack!!!
Wheezing Donkey, you were a star in lending me your fleece, but there was no way I was getting in that bivvy bag with you!Also many, many thanks for sorting out Steve's car, so very kind of you. :thumbup:
We were all looking rather blue by the time the MR heli team arrived and did a grand job of getting Steve stretchered off the hillside....a slow jog back down the road to the start got some feeling back into my toes!
