Thanks to everyone for a great day out. Quite good conditions but struggled in the second half. Just managed to break into the "elite" category with 2-55 and clock up another completion for Idle AC - I think that should take us to the top of the league for most registrations by a club!

Thanks a million MM, the 2 Chris' and Shaun! Sitting here drinking my 14.5% shiraz it was well worth it-although the pace really taxed me!! A fabulous run in stunning suroundings- I loved spying all the remote houses and I just adore all the twists and turns down narrow ginnels that MM finds!...the nettle and thorny bramble ones are particularly memorable. I scratched my nettled stings all the way back in the car. A really good lung buster of a Sunday morning for me with 4 wonderful chaps!! I was grinning all the way home now I'm an official elite runner!!!!! Hope to meet up with you all again soon and Chris H - I'll pm you!
Rachel--very happy, not moaning, all scrubbed clean and ready to face the world!

MM I'm just trying to log my time but am unsure if you meant do it on here or on your "Go Far" site? If it's on here then this is my glorious time...........

Rachel Hill FRA 26/09/10 2:54 (if using Shaun's cheaty bit) or 2:55 (by the official MM count every blade of grass route)

Bloody hard effort but bloody fantastic!!!

Yes on here is where it wants to be - I can then add you to the finishers list at the end of the year. Congratulations on a new female record as well!!!!

After missing the Round Rotherham, I found myself with a vacant day and decided to put in a gentle Calder Valley Round. Finished in 3:42.
You can therefore add me in as another Calder Valley finisher. Splits available if required.

    Re: Calder Valley Round

Got out for a couple of hours yesterday afternoon and ran the first half of the round and then shortened the final half due to time constraints.

Absolutely stonking route there were even some new bits for me and I thought I knew most of the footpaths round there.

Will have a crack it the full round later on in the year, once i've got the OMM and my holidays out of the way.
