    I have a question is there a minimum kit requirement and I don't mean do they have to have a bike

    waterproof map compass whistle etc, they seem to be carrying even less that runners

    Essential kit is whistle and survival bag (orange polythene, BMC approved). Waterproof is organisers discretion on race day.

    Richpips, your photo's are awesome! Great to see a photographer going to different places around the course and taking different angles

    Wharfeego's video is very good but have you seen this one, its on the BCF website and uses a headcam.

    That helmet cam video is bloody brilliant! I saw him at the start... and commented on the helmet cam Clearly, that got edited out
