Alan G has confirmed that I've stolen my own identity. That'll be option B, then. At least I can say "I'm in!"
BTW, there is also a Hebden 2011 thread that was started several months ago. Maybe we ought to go back to that one to reduce duplication of services? This is Austerity Britain, after all.

I think that this is one of the toughest ones around - loads of climb. But lots of runners do it so it's a good one to do. The short loop is also good (sometimes on these events the short route misses out some of the best bits).

I'm just off to the Concrete Cow beer festival, so this clip has put me in the right mood - not sure about the "cold" beer though. See you all in January.

It's not an easy route, don't think I'd find my way round even though I did it last year! (with help!)

    Re: The Hebden

I'm very tempted. See how I get on with the Wensleydale next weekend but need to prepare for the Trollers Trot in March too, so......did someone mention apple crumble and custard

BUT....looked at the times for last year...the fastest walker was 4hrs 35 mins!!!!!!! For 21 miles with over 4000ft of ascent??!!?? That's not a walk, that'll probably be faster than my run!!!
