why didn't you call, I was sat at home minutes from there entertaining kids, it would have been a great excuse....

Sorry - was planned on 10 minutes notice as I had to collect the dog from the vets...

Bleaklow's somewhat outside my "getting back if labour starts" radius, but if you want a run on Strines, Stanage or similarly close to Sheffield hilly bits then let me know.

10m/2000ft then picked up dog from home and did another 7m/1050ft. Misty drizzly and boggy on the Calderdale way. Happy and knackered now.

Short session with a few uphill sprints yesterday - 3 and a bit miles, 2 decent sized hills and 1 short and steep nasty one (which had to be taken at speed due to the group of ladies at the top )

Local road race tonight: 6.38 miles, 830' climb. About 45 minutes, feeling pretty rough and a bit sick so I'm very happy with that time.

Same race for me but I went off about 2 hours earlier as I had an MR ex on.
a few seconds over 40 minutes for me. Not my fastest round this course but I fear it is harder with no one to chase...
