No the CP hasn't been there for the last 2 years. It's on the path junction at a gate/stile SK 07281 99202, this is about 200m earlier along the path just after you have crossed the road.

It has to be said, I'm with Compo on this: I don't know what was wrong with the old route down the A57. If I never ran along an A road, I'd never go running. I really hope that the Four Inns race does not take the retrograde step of altering their route and maintains the original challenge that includes the road section along the A57.

I think the clue is in the first letter of FRA Don't really see what the "challenge" is of running down a busy road aside from avoiding being killed.

If you've sent an entry in I'm pretty sure you will be in the race so get out there and recce like lots of other. Plenty of claw and stud marks out there today
