    Re: Todays Bike Ride

Track last night, three hours of it... well, I stepped off 15 minutes early and finished one of the exercises about 5 minutes early as I am still feeling hwacked and unfit. Good session though...

This morning I went out on the crosser for about 45 minutes and got it well muddy riding around some wet and muddy fields. Comedy moment as my landcruisers started slipping like mad on a steep muddy incline... felt like I was on the rollers, so could have saved me some money there LOL

Time to swap the Landcruisers for the Conti Pro Twisters I treated myself to after having to abandon 3 Peaks after one peak...

Club hillclimb tomorrow, should be fun

Was about to say, no need to keep punishing yourself with the Landcruisers. Have converted my crosser to tubeless using a Stan's Kit. Am running Campagnolo Zonda wheels and Michelin 2 Mud Tyres and so far very impressed.

    Re: Todays Bike Ride

Had a good 67k ride out over the lunch time.
Down the Tod valley past the edge of Rochdale and Oldham then back over the moors to Yorkshire.
Just looked at the garmin and was pleased to see av speed of just over 15mph while av HR was only 131bpm.
Bloody hell :w00t: am I getting fitter

Nikalas have ever had your zonda free hubs serviced. If so how much. I've a set which Ive had for 3 winters and they are getting ready. Tiny bit of play in them.
Just ordered my campag eurus wheels for summer.

A brisk 45 mile ride with Manchester Wheelers around the lanes near Jodrell Bank, 17.5mph average.

Does anyone know if it's possible to fit a new 9/10 speed groupset and wheels to an old steel frame from the 90s?
