Ran up Beamsley Beacon earlier with Dave C and his dog, Ollie. We all enjoyed it: 5ml / 1000ft

My cousin's repossessed his headtorch, the bugger! So I'm stuck with my little Tikka thing. Never mind, I'll just run on soft ground and bog so it won't hurt when I trip over something. (Now, where's that snorkel?)

Dad and Mum think running is daft. I think that running in the dark would really confuse them.

Just back from Rooley Moor, i have a nice 12m loop which puts Rooley about the middle followed by a couple of quarries. Not to demanding and usually takes me a couple of hours, solo as usual because thats what headtorch running is about for me. Its nice to have winter back again.

Are all the KCAC off roaders going up to Pendle tonight, or will some be making their eventual and tortuous way up to the Cross?

Think most will be at Pendle.

Come to Pendle. I'll run round with you if you're not confident about the route.
