Think you got mixed up with the number of sleeps and the dates. Xotf is 17th dec 'we' decided the best bet was the sat directly before Christmas as the vintage year of 2007 being the 23rd was cutting it that little bit too fine!!
Errr if you want to go Amex has posted all the relevant info

Softlad... You on for 1 night or 2? I'd get ringing around direct to b&bs as they can be funny about just 1 night stays...dont bother with the 3rd party thing youll get more luck avoiding that route!

I've got the details of a few places to try. I'm gonna call them tonight, but before that, who's hosteling? And have you all tried to get an XOTF suite sorted?

If the company's that good, I might not even bother with the B&B/hotels.

I cant remember what it was called, but Deejay will know - But we stayed in the same B&B - seperate rooms I must add - last year, and they let me stay for one night...less than 30 quid for the night, nice room, shared bathroom, decent breakie!

I'm hosteling also, on the Saturday night, although mainly because I couldn't find somewhere that would do just the one night

I,m plannining on contacting Hostel we were in last year (Denton House) to see if they have room, I will ask about a suite for our lot but they were a bit cheesed off last year when a fair few didn't turn up!!!! and did not inform the hostel!
I stayed there in summer too, and they asked for deposit up front to avoid this.

Will post info as I get it......has anyone else booked in yet....and mentioned XOTF
