We went out for a head touch run tonight around Kinder reservoir. There is sooooo much snow around great fun but really hard work.
Reckon it would easily add two hours onto a Tanky's time

reccied the whole of Tankys in fresh snow and heavy fog last year, probably not as deep as this - took well over six hours, admittedly with the usual faffing that you do on a reccy
race day it was 4.10 or thereabouts

Just got back from a gentle jog up Wessenden & along part of the pw towards Black Hill from Wessenden Head. Good call Clair! Deep powdery snow had not consolidated despite the cold conditions. Nice to see DrPatrick on my way back down. Last time I saw him we choose different paths up WBC at last years Tanky's.
