I started with a sore throat a few days ago and then it moved to my chest with copious amounts of coughing up. No runny nose though so I don't think its flu, man or otherwise? I tried some shock tactics last night with the hottest curry I could make washed down with a bottle of Shiraz. It could be coincidence but today it seems to be on the retreat

I had this too I think.

After a week of sore throat and extensive sneezing the snot phase kicked in together with an angry looking rash all round my neck and the feeling that someone had sucked the energy out through my feet.....

Three weeks on since the sore throat started and I still feel tired most of the time and haven't been running. Grrr!

Someone might have to carry me at xotf!

Oh, I forgot to mention the headache. I've had only one day free of headache since the day the rash arrived.

I hope you fare better than me and feel better soon

No man could even live through this headache AND still be able to fix the phone socket, cook tea and wash up.

I did actually cry last night though But in fairness after feeling rotten all day, missing my train, waiting an hour for a train which then went on to run someone over, sitting there for an hour, crawling into Leicester (on the train, not actually crawling), getting turfed off the train to be told I would have to wait in the cold another hour for the next train... I think it just got to me

Sounds like you need a good dose of pain killers, a hot toddy and a big huggy kind of hug :closed:
